What is Android Rooting and Why You Should Do it ?

You have stumbled over here probably because you spent hours on Google to understand what is rooting or you are a new guy to this android world and want to learn what rooting is all about! First of all, let me clear that rooting doesn鈥檛 means or relates to sowing your android phone in soil to grow roots. If you ask me what does android rooting means in a nutshell then I would tell you that it means gaining administrator access on your phone. Actually that doesn鈥檛 sounds fancy at all, I mean who wants administrator access on their device鈥檚 until and unless you get out of it something, let m tell you that I鈥檓 here to you about that only!

I will tell you the same thing that I told you above, rooting your android device gains your administrator access. Being an administrator you will be provided with more powers 馃槢 ( like some superheroes ) 聽And that administrator access will in turn help you get some awesome outcomes!

Is It safe?

Okay so let me clear a doubt which most of the people have, android rooting is not at all safe ! That doesn鈥檛 means 聽you will start zombie apocalypse soon after rooting but it will surely loose your phone warranty; if your device manufacturers are kind hearted then it won鈥檛 be the same as many manufacturers allow you to root your device!

If you are a developer ( android), i’m sure you will find immense advantages after rooting your phone but let me list some of the main advantages of rooting below:

Better battery life: After rooting, believe it or not, you will get a better battery life!

More space: Once you root your聽device, you can remove bloatware programs. Bloatware programs are programs which comes pre installed. Removing bloatwares helps you in gaining more space.

Install custom ROMs: Soon after rooting your android smartphone you would be able to run any softwares or programs without any hassle聽and these customs ROMs will definitely make you feel awesome!

Disadvantages of Rooting

Every coin comes with two faces and same is the case with rooting, with so many advantages, there are also some disadvantages but they are manageable! Still, have a look on them:
You will lose your warranty: Rooting is not allowed by various developers but there are still some who allow you to root your device! 聽Phone becomes little buggy: Although this is really rare but still I don鈥檛 want you to curse me for not telling this!

Android Rooting is a fun thing to do and I would suggest you to try it yourself to know everything else!
